The House of KESSLER is one of the few sparkling wine producers in Germany that has its historical roots in the Champagne region. With the expertise he gathered as a director and associate of one of the most famous champagne houses in Reims, Georg Christian von Kessler founded Germany’s oldest sparkling wine producer on the 1st July 1826. At the same time, he broke new winegrowing ground, and also actively contributed to the industrialisation of Württemberg. 190 years on, the continuing existence of the KESSLER company as a successful business is due not least to excellent product quality, which Kessler himself once declared to be the fundamental characteristic and defining value of the KESSLER brand.
